Qualifying 8th | Race One 10th | Race Two 11th | Race Three 11th

This was my first race out in 2013, and the third round of the championship. We had done a track day a few weeks before in preparation but struggled to get the best from the Hankook tyres we have to run this year compared to last years Kumho’s.

A good qualifying left me feeling confident, but my pace in the race just wasn’t enough to move forwards throughout the weekend. A lack of dry tyres was probably the cause, because in the wet race my pace was much stronger compared to others. This year the BRSCC are offering a free set of tyres to the person who can stay closest to their qualifying time in all the races. Fortunately this was me, and in many ways a set of tyres were much more valuable to me than a trophy in order to get more speed from the car.

The weekend produced some great racing, which was all broadcast on MotorsTV and on YouTube. Race 3A was particularly good as shown below;
