CSCC – Brands Hatch GP

Qualifying 1st (16th overall) | Race 1st (11th overall)

Who would turn down the opportunity to race on Brands Hatch GP circuit?! I’ve done track days here in the past but never had the chance to race there (until now). There’s only a limited number of race weekends on the GP circuit and this was one I couldn’t miss. The CSCC had partnered with the MSVR race weekend in order to bring a guest grid of 41 cars and offer spectators something different to their usual club weekend.

Qualifying went well, posting a 1.47.875 and gave me a good opportunity for the race. After a solid start, I maintained a strong pace in the first half of the race and following a quick pit stop (thanks to Newbs & Brian) and a safety car intervention to back the pack up, I set about making up as many places as a I could. During the second half of the race I made sure that I cleared back-markers as quickly as possible, and was pushing hard around the back of the circuit as you’ll see in the video…
