Daniel Rogers Racing are a father and son team (Dan and Steve Rogers) based in Kent. Dan started racing 9 years ago in the Comer Cadet class and progressed through Cadets and into Juniors, achieving good results in individual races and championships alike. Dan competed in the Super 1 British Championships for three consecutive years and experienced the highs and lows of the increased competition. Dan has just finished a very successful year; winning the Formula 6 Championship in Junior TKM 4 Stroke as well as winning the Kartmasters GP Plate in Senior TKM 4 Stroke

In 2009 Dan will be focussing his attention, once again, to the British Championship, this time in Senior TKM 4 Stroke. In order to prepare for the championship Dan will be competing in the Bayford Meadows Winter Series, as well as competing in the F6 O Plate at the beginning of the year. Given the productive start to Senior TKM 4 Stroke that Dan has experienced after becoming Kartmasters GP Plate Champion, things are looking positive for a successful year in the British Championship. The website will be the first place to find all the latest news and results, so please check for updates regularly! Thanks

The Kart

We are using a 2008 Talko Racing S8 chassis, with the TKM K4S engine. The engine itself is a purpose built, sealed race engine specifically designed to deliver lots of torque and raw power. The 200cc 4 stroke engine produces 19 bhp, revving to a maximum of 11,950 rpm with a top speed of roughly 70mph. With driver; the chassis and engine combination must be at least 162kg. Information about the kart is recorded by a Mychron 4 data logging unit, which records, engine revs, lap times, G-forces, GPS position, etc. The kart can be easily spotted by the distinctive graphics, which were produced for our sponsors, Caterbuild.
