Qualifying 5th | Race One 5th | Race Two 5th

After a successful meeting at Anglesey, I was hopeful of another good result at Brands Hatch. With 34 cars on the grid, it was not going to be easy however. This was the biggest grid of the year and the short Brands Hatch Indy circuit meant that qualifying had to be split into two groups. I qualified 3rd in my group, posting a time of 57.9. Once both qualifying groups had completed their sessions, the grids were then compiled. I would start the first race from 5th.

5th place seemed to be the order of the day, with Race 2 a mirror image of Race 1. This was good because  a top 5 result is always positive, but at the same time it was a bit frustrating on this occasion as I ended up having two quite lonely races. I needed another 0.3-0.5 seconds per lap to stay with the four at the front and had enough speed to pull away from the group behind me.
